TableWise ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TableWise, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and household profile details you provide during onboarding.
- Application data: meal plans, grocery lists, household memberships, dinner preferences, check-ins, notes, and other content you create in the app.
- Phone number: if you choose to add one, used only to enable optional SMS notifications.
- Usage information: interactions within the app used to improve your experience and the service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain TableWise features such as weekly meal planning, grocery budgeting, and household coordination.
- To send transactional and customer-care messages you have requested, including account notifications and reminders.
- To improve our features, safety, and reliability.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary to operate the service (for example, with hosting and messaging providers bound by confidentiality), to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. Members of your household can see the shared household data you contribute, such as meals and grocery lists. This provision does not include sharing your mobile phone number or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, as described in our SMS Text Messaging section below.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data.
SMS Text Messaging
- Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Message frequency may vary.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Users may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
- Users may reply HELP for assistance.
Data Retention & Your Choices
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can update your profile, delete meals, or remove your phone number at any time within the app. You may opt out of SMS by toggling consent in Settings or by replying STOP to any message.
Children's Privacy
TableWise is intended for use by adults managing household meals. Children may be added as household members by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their activity and any information shared within the household.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of TableWise after changes means you accept the updated policy.
